RWC for All Makes & Models

Located in Sunshine, just minutes from Tottenham, our expert mechanics provide roadworthy certificates for all vehicle makes and models.
We have more than three decades of experience delivering premium car service and repairs to valued customers in Tottenham and across Melbourne’s western suburbs.

When do you need an RWC?

An RWC is needed whenever a vehicle is being bought, sold or re-registered or to clear a police defect. Our mechanics are VicRoads licensed vehicle testers and are fully qualified and authorised to carry out inspections.

If your car passes the inspection, you’ll have 30 days to present the certificate to VicRoads. If it fails, you’ll receive a rejection report and have 14 days to have it repaired and represented for inspection.

What gets assessed in a roadworthy inspection?

A roadworthy inspection checklist includes the major safety components of your vehicle. These includes:

  • Wheels and tyres
  • Steering, suspensions and braking systems
  • Seats and seatbelts
  • Lights and reflectors
  • Windscreen, and windows including front wipers and washers
  • Vehicle structure
  • Other safety related items on the body, chassis or engine
